Periwinkle pocket
Over the weekend, my family met up for lunch to celebrate my grandmother’s birthday, and I busted out the high-waisted pencil skirt—which, I can convince myself, means I’m dressing up, even if it’s paired with a tee.
Skirt from Express, tee from Uniqlo, jean jacket from Gap, headband re-fashioned by me from a piece-of-crap broken Urban Outfitters headband and a cheaper-but-sturdier version, bracelet from Invisible Children, “Ray-Bans” from Mexico, ankle booties from my mom’s closet (Sofft)
My favorite part is probably the twine bracelet, a gift from my sister that I’m wearing with everything lately. It comes with a great documentary about war-affected African children and supports a great cause.
